When I come home from work, I want to do NOTHING.
I have no desire to do anything. I am generally exhausted and have been trying to make sure I get enough sleep. Should I go back to caffeine? I haven't drank any pop since March. I plan on keeping it that way.
Thoughts?

I don't think you should go back to caffeine. For one thing it kind of just seems like a lame solution, and also it seems like all the sugar and chemicals and shit in pop would make you feel just as bad as you do now.
ReplyDeleteWhen I used to temp I pretty much just wanted to die when I got home every day. One thing to do is to honestly make sure you sleep enough, at night, in your bed. No napping in the evening, and make sure you sleep at least 8 hours or however much you need to get to function. Another thing is to make sure you're eating right. I used to basically starve myself all day at the office, and when I got home I'd be like "eat --> coma." Finally, it would probably help to work in some kind of physical activity to give yourself more energy and to put you in a better mood. It's the last thing you want to do when you feel dead, and god knows I never, EVER took this particular piece of advice, but enough people say it makes you feel better that I believe it must be true. You and I should ride our bikes after work or something. It could be fun.
Um, this was incredibly long. Sorry. I actually had more to say on the topic but this is...not my blog. But basically, I feel you, and it sucks to be bored, tired, and apathetic during your little bit of free time every day. I hope you figure something out.
I need to excercise. I know it's a good source of energy. I just to get out and do it.
